SwapLedger is an independent crypto review publisher. This website reviews ChangeNow and related crypto swap services. SwapLedger is not ChangeNow and is not created, owned, operated, sponsored, or controlled by ChangeNow.
Our editorial work is designed to help readers understand how a crypto service presents its pricing, supported assets, security information, swap process, support options, and published terms. Our content is for general information. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment, or security advice.
Our Editorial Mission
SwapLedger publishes clear, evidence based reviews of crypto services. Our goal is to explain what a service says it offers, how its public terms work, where important limits may apply, and what users should verify before sending funds.
Crypto transactions can be irreversible. Network fees, exchange rates, liquidity, processing times, wallet compatibility, token contracts, and compliance checks can affect an outcome. We aim to describe these factors in plain English without promising a result.
We separate verified facts from analysis. We identify opinion as opinion. We do not present marketing statements as independent proof. When a company has not published a material detail, we say so.
How We Select Topics
SwapLedger selects topics based on reader relevance, public interest, service availability, product changes, security concerns, user questions, and the need for clear information about crypto swaps.
Our coverage may include ChangeNow features, supported cryptocurrencies, blockchain networks, stated fees, quoted exchange rates, wallet requirements, transaction status tools, customer support channels, security disclosures, compliance statements, and published policies.
We give priority to issues that can materially affect a user, including:
- Whether a service explains fixed-rate and floating-rate transactions.
- Whether network fees, provider fees, spread, and quote expiry are explained clearly.
- Whether an asset is supported on the correct blockchain network.
- Whether a transaction may require identity or compliance review under published terms.
- Whether recovery options exist after an incorrect address, unsupported network, delayed transfer, or failed swap.
- Whether mobile users can complete core steps safely and clearly.
Topic selection does not guarantee positive coverage. A commercial relationship, affiliate arrangement, advertising request, or brand outreach does not determine what SwapLedger covers or how it is rated.
Research & Fact-Checking Standards
We use primary sources whenever possible. These may include official product pages, help center articles, fee disclosures, terms of service, privacy policies, compliance statements, supported asset lists, status pages, public announcements, and official app store listings.
We compare claims across relevant official pages because crypto service information can vary by product, region, network, asset, or transaction type. We check publication dates and update dates where available. We also review whether a statement is limited by conditions in the service's own terms.
For crypto-specific claims, our checks may cover:
- Asset tickers, token names, contract addresses where publicly listed, and supported blockchain networks.
- Network selection requirements, including the risk of sending funds through an unsupported chain.
- Fixed-rate and floating-rate quote terms, quote validity periods, minimum and maximum transaction limits, and stated fee treatment.
- Custody statements, private key control, wallet handoff steps, and third-party liquidity or payment provider references where disclosed.
- Know Your Customer, Anti Money Laundering, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and source-of-funds requirements described in public policies.
- Transaction identifiers, block confirmations, network congestion, and blockchain explorer records when these are relevant to a specific factual claim.
- Support channels, stated response processes, refund policies, and transaction recovery procedures.
We do not treat anonymous comments, social media posts, or unverified review sites as proof of a fact. They may alert us to an issue worth checking, but they do not override official documentation or verifiable transaction data.
Some crypto outcomes cannot be guaranteed in advance. Actual execution can differ from a displayed estimate because of market movement, liquidity, blockchain confirmation times, network fees, asset availability, and compliance checks. We explain these limits when they are relevant.
Before publication, content is reviewed for factual support, clear wording, correct links, and accurate distinction between a service's claims and SwapLedger's assessment. Material claims are checked against the most relevant available source. If sources conflict, we describe the conflict or avoid making a definitive claim until it can be resolved.
Author Qualifications
SwapLedger assigns crypto content to writers and editors with relevant research experience in digital assets, blockchain transactions, crypto wallets, exchange and swap mechanics, online security, consumer disclosures, or financial product analysis.
Authors are expected to understand core crypto concepts, including public and private keys, wallet addresses, blockchain confirmations, token standards, network fees, liquidity, quoted rates, custody models, and the risks of irreversible transfers.
Each published review should identify its author or editorial team where the page format permits. Authors must disclose material financial interests that could affect their judgment. Editors may request source records, supporting links, screenshots, transaction details with sensitive information removed, or further research before approving a piece.
Professional experience does not remove the risks of crypto use. Our authors do not know a reader's financial position, risk tolerance, tax status, wallet security practices, or local legal requirements. Readers should make their own decisions and seek qualified advice when needed.
How We Score
Every SwapLedger score uses the same published scoring framework. These are the real weights behind every score on this site.
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Price transparency and execution | 26% |
| Asset and network coverage | 20% |
| Security, custody, and compliance clarity | 22% |
| Swap experience and mobile usability | 17% |
| Support and transaction recovery | 15% |
| Overall / 100% | 100% |
Scores reflect our assessment of publicly available information and the service experience at the time of review. A score is not a recommendation to buy, sell, exchange, hold, or transfer any crypto asset. It is also not a guarantee that a service will meet every user's needs.
We do not alter weights to favor an affiliate partner, advertiser, brand relationship, or preferred outcome. If a material fact changes, we may revise the supporting analysis, criterion assessment, and overall score.
How We Make Money
SwapLedger earns affiliate commission from some outbound links. This never changes a score or a verdict. The reviewed brand has no editorial input.
If a reader uses an eligible outbound link and completes a qualifying action, SwapLedger may receive compensation. This compensation may vary by partner, region, campaign, or transaction type. Our editorial team does not adjust ratings, conclusions, or coverage decisions based on commission amounts.
Affiliate links do not cost readers extra unless a linked service clearly states otherwise. Readers should always review the destination service's current terms, fees, privacy policy, and transaction details before proceeding.
Affiliate & Commercial Disclosure
Some pages on SwapLedger contain affiliate links, referral links, sponsored placements, or other commercial links. Where practical, we identify these links or relationships near the relevant content.
Affiliate compensation supports publishing, research, editing, maintenance, and updates. It does not purchase a positive review, remove critical statements, control score weights, or guarantee coverage.
ChangeNow does not write, approve, edit, or control SwapLedger reviews. A mention of ChangeNow does not mean that SwapLedger is affiliated with, authorized by, or speaking for ChangeNow.
Commercial content, if accepted, must be clearly identified. Sponsored material is kept separate from independent editorial reviews. Sponsored content is not presented as an independent score or verdict.
Conflict of Interest Policy
SwapLedger protects editorial independence by requiring contributors and editors to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest. Relevant conflicts can include employment, consulting work, direct investments, token holdings, paid partnerships, close personal relationships, or compensation from a company discussed in the content.
A contributor with a material conflict may be removed from an assignment, required to disclose the conflict, or subject to additional editorial review. SwapLedger may decline to publish content when a conflict cannot be managed clearly and fairly.
Our team does not accept payment in exchange for a guaranteed rating, favorable verdict, link placement presented as independent editorial content, or removal of substantiated criticism. Brands may provide factual corrections or public documentation, but they cannot direct our conclusion.
Because crypto assets can be volatile, contributors should not use nonpublic editorial information to trade assets or exploit expected coverage changes. Editorial work must not be used to mislead readers or influence markets.
How We Update Content
Crypto services change frequently. We review and update content when material information changes or when new evidence affects accuracy. Updates may follow changes to fees, supported assets, blockchain networks, swap limits, terms, security notices, compliance rules, customer support procedures, mobile applications, or public service status.
We may also update a review after identifying an error, receiving credible evidence, or finding that a source is outdated. Significant corrections may be noted on the relevant page when appropriate.
We do not promise that every page reflects real-time market conditions. Exchange quotes, blockchain fees, confirmation times, liquidity, asset availability, and service access can change after publication. Readers should verify current details directly with the service before initiating a transaction.
How to Report an Error

Please include the page URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, a brief explanation, and supporting evidence where available. Do not send private keys, seed phrases, passwords, full identity documents, or sensitive wallet access information.
