The quote form is the only usable limit checker

ChangeNOW does not publish one minimum or maximum that applies to every asset. The usable limits appear after you choose the asset you send, the asset you receive, and their networks in the quote form. These are the limits that matter for that specific order.

For example, a USDT on Ethereum to BTC quote can have different boundaries from a USDT on Tron to BTC quote. A route can also change when liquidity changes. The supported assets page may show that an asset is available, but availability alone does not confirm that a particular network pair can currently handle your intended amount.

Treat the number in the form as a live instruction, not as a general account limit. If a quote says the minimum is 0.01 BTC, entering 0.009 BTC should be corrected before you create the order. If it shows a maximum of 1 BTC, sending 1.2 BTC is outside that quote's stated range.

What is the minimum deposit on ChangeNow?

There is no universal minimum deposit on ChangeNOW, because the minimum is set per route and appears in the quote form before you send funds.

The lower boundary exists because a small transfer may not be practical for a given chain and swap route. The minimum can differ by asset, network, destination asset, and live route conditions. A minimum suitable for a BTC to ETH order may be very different from one for a smaller token on another network.

Use the amount field before creating an order. If you plan to send 100 USDT but the form requires more than 100 USDT for that route, increase the amount, select another available network, or choose a different destination asset. The getting started guide can help with order creation, but the current quote remains the authority on the minimum.

What is the maximum amount I can swap on ChangeNow?

There is no published universal maximum on ChangeNOW, since the ceiling is route specific and can move with available liquidity and the selected pair.

A large maximum is not guaranteed merely because an asset is widely traded. The route needs sufficient liquidity for the input asset, output asset, and networks selected. A 5 BTC request, for example, can receive a different ceiling from a 0.5 BTC request, and a quote that works now may not be available later.

Verification state is not presented as a published set of numerical maximum tiers. ChangeNOW can request identity verification for orders flagged by its AML and risk controls. That request can affect whether an order proceeds, but it should not be viewed as a way to raise a displayed maximum. See verification requirements for the process if an order is flagged.

Practical ways to fit an order within the displayed band

For an amount below the minimum, the legitimate fix is to raise the order to the displayed minimum or change to a route whose form accepts the amount. Confirm the sending network carefully. Sending 25 USDT through a network different from the one selected for the order does not solve a size limit.

For an amount above the maximum, request a new quote for a smaller amount. If a route accepts 1 BTC but not 3 BTC, three separate 1 BTC quotes may be possible only when each new quote independently displays that range. Do not split orders to avoid a compliance request, geographic restriction, or verification check.

If no available route accepts the size you need, use contact support to ask whether the pair has a temporary liquidity constraint. If the limit remains unsuitable, alternatives may offer different route capacity for the same assets. Never send funds first in the hope that an out-of-range amount will be adjusted later.

Frequently asked questions

Why does ChangeNOW reject an amount below the minimum?

The selected route has a minimum order size, shown in the quote form before you send funds. That threshold can reflect the selected assets, their networks, and available liquidity. For example, if the form requires 0.01 BTC, an entry of 0.009 BTC is too small for that order. Increase the amount or obtain a quote for another route.

Why is my 2 BTC swap above ChangeNOW's maximum?

A maximum is set for the specific pair and route, rather than for your whole ChangeNOW usage. Liquidity can limit how much a route can process at a quoted time. If a 2 BTC request exceeds the displayed ceiling, request a quote for a smaller amount. Each smaller order needs its own current quote before any funds are sent.

Can I split a large ChangeNOW order into smaller swaps?

You can request separate smaller quotes when each one falls inside its displayed maximum. For instance, a route that accepts up to 1 BTC might accept several separate 1 BTC orders, subject to fresh liquidity and current route availability. Splitting an order does not remove compliance obligations or avoid a verification request triggered by risk controls.

Does completing verification raise my ChangeNOW maximum?

ChangeNOW does not publish verification-based maximum tiers or a promise that verification raises a route limit. The displayed maximum is still determined by the selected pair, networks, and current liquidity. Verification may be requested for an order flagged by AML and risk controls. Follow the requested process rather than assuming a larger amount will become available.

Bottom line

ChangeNOW's approach is clear at the point that matters most: the active quote shows the permitted amount before you send. That is more useful than a broad published limit that ignores the asset pair and network. The drawback is that users planning a large transfer cannot rely on one fixed ceiling in advance. Check a fresh quote for the exact amount, and use smaller independently quoted orders only where that is permitted and appropriate. If the route cannot support your target size, choose another route or provider rather than sending an out-of-range amount.
